Create a New Profile for Gprs in Nokia PC Suite

As the improvement in the field of technology increase. The world of computers and mobile develop more advanced and better tools and hardware to make our task much simpler. So, as you all know that day by day, the net is growing too fast. And even the use of it is just a compulsory for more of the task we do. So the advancement in the equipment for the usage of internet is growing. This leads to make the structure of the modems better and friendly. 



But as the modem is more advance in their use, it even cost a high price. The more cost of it is the reason that people use other source to surf on net.  Many of the users, may not be that rich to afford the cost of net usage for a particular net provider. So they use their mobile as their modem and start surfing the net. There may people who don’t to operate and start connecting through their cell as a modem.

In this tutorial, I will tell you how to make a new profile or configure an old on.

First of all, the tools you need are Nokia PC Suite and a data cable (that comes with your mobile itself).

Now let’s begin –

First you need to fully install your PC Suite on your system. There may be many of the softwares that come with the CD of the Suite. But you only need to install the PC Suite for this. Even it’s totally up to you, that to install the rest of the softwares or not. If you need them, you can even install them first. It will not be a mess, lolz…

Then connect your mobile using the data cable to your pc. When connected, you will see this icon on the taskbar down, on the right-hand side.

 

Right click on it and then select “Connect to the Internet”.

A dialogue box appears,

 

Then Click on “Configure” button.

Window appears; follow the steps in the image.

 

Then follow the next steps shown in the image,

 

And you’re done! Then just try to connect and you will be connected.

To configure manually, follow the steps.

This window appears, if you select to manually configure the connection for your network provider. 

In this method, I will tell you to configure for Airtel.

 

Then in this window, write the Access Point, for your mobile operator.

And then click on the “TICK”. Then you will be on the main window.

Try to connect and you will be done.
