The second Alpha images of the upcoming Ubuntu GNOME Remix 12.10 distribution was announced , September 13th, by Jeremy Bicha and the Ubuntu GnomeCommunity.
After just ten days from the firstAlpha release of Ubuntu GNOME Remix 12.10, a Ubuntu-based operating system powered by theGNOME desktop environment, the second development version is now available for testing.
This release comes with GNOME 3.6Beta 2 (including GNOME Shell 3.6 Beta 2 and GDM 3.6 Beta 2), redesigned both the lock and login screen, GNOME Package-Kit, and updates apps like Epiphany, AbiWord, Gnumeric, Cheese, Gwibber, Rhythmbox, Shotwell, Simple Scan, and Transmission.
