Hide your File/Folder in Windows

Many a times, we all come across some circumstances where we need to hide some valuable information from others while we are unable to. But now even we can hide it from other by just a few steps. 

So, in this post, I will tell you how to hide a file or else a folder in windows and again show it as it was earlier.

Now, let’s begin – 

Step 1: Right click on the file/folder you want to hide and then select “Properties”.

A dialogue box appears.

Step 2: Then select “Hidden” in Attribute option. 

 

Step 3: Click on “Apply” and then on “OK”.

And you’re done. The file/ folder you want are now hidden.

Note - To make the file/folder appear, just follow the same steps. But “Unselect” the Hidden option and then on “Apply” and on OK.
