Today, I will share a quick guide to unlock Huawei Idea Cellular E-1550 modem.

1. Connect Idea E-1550 modem with your PC with default SIM you get while
purchasing it.

2. Note down the IMEI number which you can find on backside of the modem.
Note it down.

3. Open Huawei unlock code generator which you can download from above.



4. Put your IMEI number and get flash code. Note it down.

5. Start installation of Huawei Firmware which you downloaded.

6. Press Next till it starts installation. (Don’t care what is it) :P

7. If you wish you can also install MMS dashboard in same manner.

8. Remove data card and reinsert it with other network SIM. 

Hurray! Your modem is now unlocked!
