Apple: We’re Sorry About Losing Your Emails, iCloud Now Fixed.

Apple has sent an apologetic email to customers using iCloud to send and receive email, noting that all service has been restored to normal. Lost emails are now back in everyone’s inboxes, says the Cupertino mammoth.

iCloud is a web-based suite of services that tightly integrates with Apple’s mobile and desktop operating systems, iOS and OS X. It’s all based on giant server farms in North Carolina, and sometimes, these servers act up.

Recently customers reported issues with their email delivery service. The problem lasted for days and, as the service came back online, some users were left with missing emails.
The problem is now fully rectified, says Apple.

An email sent out to faithful customers says,
“Dear [user], We apologize for the mail service interruption you recently experienced. Your mail service has been restored and all emails sent during this service interruption have been delivered to your account.”

“Our customers are very important to us and we are working hard to ensure you have the best experience with iCloud. We appreciate your patience,” the message reads.

When a user sets up iCloud, he / she gets a free iCloud.come mail account which pushes new email messages to all their devices, automatically.

The inbox and other folders should be up to date every where you the user checks them. Apple is now ensuring this feature is no longer affected by downtimes.According to the marketing pages of iCloud on Apple.com,

“Now no matter which email account you’re using, iCloud works with the Mail app on OS X Mountain Lion and on your iOS devices to keep your recent email address history up to date, so you won’t have to look up any addresses you’ve used before.”

Apple is encouraging customers to set up a VIP list to keep track of only the important messages from people like their boss, spouse, or best friends.
